Base profile with mesh and hidden drip edge

A transition bead intended for creating horizontal corners at a point where various thicknesses of insulating materials meet in ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) with a hidden drip edge. Intended for an external plaster layer (base coat + finishing coat) thickness of 6 mm

Material:

• PVC – resistant to alkaline environments with UV stabilisation
• Glass fibre mesh – complying with ETAG 004

Instructions for use:

Insert the beads into narrow horizontal gaps between the various insulating material thicknesses. At the place where you want to fit it, apply the base coat to the width of the integrated glass fibre mesh of the bead. Place the glass fibre mesh onto the base coat and smooth off with a stainless-steel trowel. Finish the surface-wide reinforcement at the edge of the fold in the beads. The minimum overlap of insulation joints, beads and glass fibre mesh must be 100 mm. Use the appropriate cutting discs for hard PVC for to shorten the length of the beads. Apply the bead and finish the ETICS base layer in a single working cycle. The installation itself must conform to project documentation as well as to the manufacturer's instructions of ETICS system applied

Storage:

A horizontal storage position is recommended. The beads need to be stored in a dry place, the temperature range of -5°C to +40°C. Maximum recommended storage time is 24 months
