The Fischer strap hinge screw FHT-SZ ZPF is a special screw for fixing furniture fittings, hinges, piano hinges, guide rails and brackets. The steel screw has a small 5 mm countersunk head which ends flush with the hinge. This provides a firm connection with a high-quality appearance and reduces the risk of injury from protruding screw heads. The full thread of the blue, passivated screw ensures optimum force transmission. It can be used for fixings in laminated veneer plywood panels, (e.g. Multiplex), medium-density fibreboards (e.g. MDF panels), chipboards and oriented strand boards (e.g. OSB panels), as well as solid wood panels
