For attaching wooden step treads in steel sub-constructions.

The fischer stair-tread fixing TB is a fixing solution for mounting wooden stair treads on steel staircase stringers. The special fixing consists of a fixing sleeve made of high-quality nylon and a suitable screw. When driving in the screw, the fastener expands in the steel profile. Afterwards, the fastener is bonded in the wood step using cold wood glue.

Advantages

• The elastic shaft geometry allows for the absorption of vibrations, prevents creaking, and thus increases comfort.
• The TB only requires a very small cavity due to the short expansion element. Thus it is suitable even for narrow steel profiles.

Functioning

• The plastic expansion plugs are suitable for anchoring wooden step treads and wooden boards >30 mm to steel profiles.
• The ideal retention forces are only achieved when using cold wood glue for the fixing in wooden step treads.
