Butyl adhesive tape - ideally suited for connecting the underlay sheet to rising building components or to the vapour barrier foil

Advantages:

• Unsupported on both sides, waterproof and self-sealing plastic-elastic butyl rubber mass with high surface adhesiveness
• 0,6 mm thick, with good cohesion and strength with extreme ageing resistance
• Permanently water-resistant
• Wind and vapour barriers, underlay sheet in the roof and façade areas, dimpled and drainage membranes and masonry barriers can be sealed and bonded reliably using the product

Installation:

• Surfaces to be bonded must be free from solvents such as greases, oils, surfactants, dirt and dust
• Porous surfaces pre-treated with adhesive primer
• Without tension, press down carefully, stronger pressure increases adhesion
• Not suitable for bonds under mechanical loads
• Compatibility on plastic coatings must be reviewed in advance with respect to the use of solvents and stress corrosion
• Not resistant to oils and organic solvents
