DSH K - with plastic nail

Characteristics

• Fixing system consisting of expansion plug with retaining disc (ø 60 mm) and plastic nail
• The nail tip may be broken off to allow for easier installation in very dense base materials
• The disc profile allows optimum adhesion of plaster
• The ribbed lower side of the disc as well as the profiled shank stiffens up the plug during installation
• The pre-expansion zone prevents the plug from slipping too deeply into the hole

Suitability

• Base materials: concrete, natural stone, solid brick, limited suitability for hollow brick, hollow block, aircrete
• For fixing of: various types of insulation material, good plaster adhesion (ex.: composite insulation systems), may be used in Germany without official approval for building height up to 8 m (acc. to DIN 1102)

Advice

The drill hole must be cleaned with brush and air pump. As existing render/ plaster may not be considered as base material a longer plug as well as a correspondingly deeper drill hole are required.
