APU 3D telescopic window reveal profile IDEAL-plus with flexible protective lip and glass fibre mesh. The profile provides connection elastic in 3 directions between the window or door frame to plaster in the thermal insulation system – ETICS. It provides a quality connection even in cases of significant movement of the building construction
- The profile is horizontally and vertically flexible as one profile part is inserted into the other with sealing lips, via the flexible lead also back and forth. This enables absorption of expansions in the joint area of windows or doors between the plaster and the frame
- The profile is glued to the frame in front of the reveal insulation and with the fabric part overlapping towards the fabric of the corner bracket, both embedded with filler
- The final plaster aligns flush with the profile
- A thick self-adhesive PE sealing tape ensures a permanent driving rain proof sealing joint
- The flexible protective lip forms a visually neat border towards the frame
- The self-adhesive protective tab takes up the on-site protective foil to protect the frame during plastering and painting work
- The telescopic function of the profile with fabric, as well as the forward and backward flexibility, is enabled by separating the protective tab at the end of work (zip opening principle)
