The full-thread screw for economical connections of load-bearing timber constructions
The fischer Power-Full full-thread screw is a blue, passivated wood construction screw with cylindrical head, star recess, and drill tip. It is suitable for connections and reinforcement of load-bearing timber constructions. These include, for example, cases of reinforcing against transverse tension and pressure, beam reinforcement, and main and secondary beam connections. The fischer Power-Full provides optimised, cost-effective, and effective solutions compared to previous standard solutions with a variety of timber constructions.
Top Features:
- Time and energy are saved during installation as no pre-drilling with the drill tip is required.
- Simple preparation of high-strength connections.
- European technical approval guarantees safety.
- Minimal risk of splitting due to a narrow cylinder head.
Advantages:
- The unique Power-Full thread runs from the tip to right under the head, ensuring maximum force transmission.
- The drill bit tip enables screw fitting without pre-drilling and offers guidance when screwing in. In addition, the risk of splitting is decreased and the screwing resistance is significantly reduced.
- Lower edge and axle distances are therefore possible and allowed.
- All in all, this saves on time and materials.
- The ETA approval guarantees the high safety standard and the premium quality of the fischer Power-Full screws.
Applications:
- Safety-relevant applications
- Wood frame construction
- Post construction
- Timber houses
- Rooftop insulation systems
- Car ports
- Conservatories
- Playground equipment
Building materials:
- Glued-laminated timber
- Cross-laminated timber
- Laminated veneer plywood panels
- Solid structural timber
- Glued timber boards on solid wood
- Soft wood (e.g. Douglas, spruce, pine, fir, etc.)
- And other wood materials
Functionality:
