Durable montage tool with scale and barrier ring.

Advantages-application:

• Montage tool is easily removable from the mounting hole;
• Can be used with SV II Ecotwist insulation fixings;
• The fixing is inserted through the insulating material into the drill hole and screwed in using the setting tool.
• The screwing disc and screw have the same pitch, which means they turn at the same time through the insulation until the anti-rotation lock meets the base.
• Then the steel screw turns into the expansion zone. The compression zone is compressed until it is only a few millimeters thick and the fixing is anchored in the base.
• The setting process is completed when the marking ring is flush with the insulation.

Installation Guide:

1) Measure insulation thickness hD (example: 18 cm = 180 mm).
2) Adjust the setting tool ring corresponding to the insulation material thickness hD in mm. The number is legible. Additionally, the setting tool ring a thin plastic plate (max. 1 mm thickness) can be used as a stop unit for easier mounting.
3) Dril bore hole. Total drill hole depth must be at
Ttol0-10 mm -> hD + 55mm
Ttol0-30 mm -> hD + 75mm
Ttol30-60 mm -> hD + 105mm
4) Press the anchor with the screw plate tight against the surface of the insulation material, then start screwing in the anchor. The setting is finished when the surface of the ring is flush with the surface of the insulation material.
5) When step 4 is completed, press the adjustment tool tight against the installed anchor. If there is no axial movement of the anchor, remove the setting tool. In the case of axial movement, a new anchor has to be set in a new drill hole.
6) The hole in the insulation material must be filled with a suitable foam.
